What an awful looking garment - the sort of thing your great grandad wore. In the US they are/were called BVDs - back vent drawers. They were ugly, cumbersome items of clothing which we found hilarious when we saw them hanging on the line. Imagine your granddad wearing them and you will know what I mean.
All someone has to say these days is that something is fashionable and before you know it everyone is buying a pair and think they are being trendy! They are saggy, baggy and there is absolutely nothing attractive about them. As well as being decidedly outdated, they are only suitable for infants, old married couples and us wrinklies who suffer from cold but even then they could do with feet on. They should be supplied free to anyone of pensionable age.
Wear them under a top and jeans but for heavan's sake, girls, keep them hidden. If you think you look good in yours get your eyes tested. Take a good look - now honestly - would you really want George Clooney to see you in a pair?
