Rich and Poor

The trouble is, as it has always been, if he was once poor, the rich man in his castle,  chooses to become blind  once he passes through the gate, while the rich man who has always been rich, has no understanding or connection with anyone who is at or outside the gate.
It is the same with the poor man who, while he may not live in a castle, despises the beggarman at his door.
Being selfish is part of human nature which few of us admit to and which, unfortunately, only the few are able to overcome. If is was otherwise there would be no beggars..
