Remembering your mother at Christmas

It's so easy to think everything is OK at home because your mother never complains about not hearing from you. But don't you think you should remember how much she has done for you in the past?
I am particularly thinking of my two grandchildren who, since their father snatched them from their mother, seem to have forgotten how difficult life was for her as she tried to deal with his mental illness.
NowDad has them all to himself, refuses to share or encourage them to see her and acts like a bully threatening her with the law. What a waste of time mediation is when  he agrees that she should have them and then  ignores the agreement completely. Does he really think their children are going to grow up balanced?
