Yesterday, I called to my husband from the garden 'come and see this' - it was a sight which, perhaps, some are very familiar with but to us it was was one of the wonders of the world - a skein of geese - flying south to warmer climes.
We stood in the garden and watched as they disappeared across the neighbouring rooves and out of sight, then a smaller skein came up fast behind to join them.
It may not be much to some but it brought so much pleasure to us?
