Aliens

According to the Fact of the Day on the BBC website recently - 8% of Californians believe they had been abducted by aliens.
Are these abductees ones who have recently crossed the border from Canada or Mexico? Their port borders seem so secure not even a gnat could enter without proving he was an American gnat! Or an American gnut!
The Californian police should really be doing their best to solve these crimes. Have they managed to even catch one of the abductors? Pretty poor showing, I would say.
If they are Canadian or Mexican  abductors - are the police forces in those countries co-operating with the Californian police? If not the abductees should ask the Californian Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to act on their behalf and draw President Obama's attention to this - oops - perhaps not possible - there were aliens in his family as well, weren't there? These aliens are getting everywhere these days.
I was an alien for 15 years when I lived overseas so I hope they don't think it is me doing the abducting!
I wonder how much the aliens get for returning an abductee?  Hmm, might be a business there somewhere.
