The best gift I ever received

Well it wasn't so much a gift as an introduction - in August 1986 my daughter knew a couple who had bought a golden English cocker spaniel pup. They only had her a couple of days and decided they couldn't keep her and wanted to find a good family for her.
So Cindy came into our lives and what a joy she was and she kept me company for the next 14 years.  Yes, I was much younnger then!

She left us in 2000, but she brought so much pleasure into our lives -  such a good dog with a lovely nature who adored children. Everyone wanted to stop and pet her when we went for walks and she loved it. Surely there must be a place in heaven for her? We still miss her. Thank you, Heather.
